Dies ist die Ausbeute für 2009, mit der ich sehr zufrieden bin. Ich habe doch einige große, schöne Projekte gestrickt und auch meinen Horizont wieder erweitern können.

This is what I knit in 2009, and I’m very satisfied. I finished more than one handsome, larger project and again learned something new.

Die 100 Knäule habe ich nicht verstrickt, sondern nur 93, aber das ist eine ganze Menge, wenn man bedenkt, dass ich eher dünne Garne verstricke.

I didn’t make the 100 balls of yarn but only 93. Although I missed the goal I think this is quite a lot – I’m mostly working with thinner yarns, mostly fingering weight.

Ich habe dieses Jahr die Lacestrickerei endlich erfolgreich bewältigt, wieder ein wenig mit Perlen gearbeitet und angefangen, mich mit Nalbinding und Brettchenweben zu beschäftigen. Spinntechnisch entdeckte ich den Zauber der Handspindel.

This year I managed lace knitting, started to do some beadwork again and began to learn nalbinding and card weaving. Regarding the spinning business I discovered how great it is to use a hand spindle.

Über all dies habe ich in diesem Blog berichtet, und ich denke, das werde ich auch weiterhin tun.

About all this I wrote in my blog, and I think I’ll go on with it next year.

Ziele für 2010 habe ich auch wieder ein paar: Ich will Lace und Fair-Isle stricken, mich meine WiPs annehmen und auch wieder Strickkurse geben.

There are some goals for 2010: I want to go on with lace and stranded knitting, and I urgently want to take care of my WiPs. Last but not least I want to continue to give knitting classes next year.
