Dies ist mein momentanes Unterwegs-Gestrick, da ich überhaupt keine Lust auf Socken habe. Es ist die Lady Eleanor Entrelac Stole aus dem Buch Scarf Style von Pam Allen. Es ist eines der wenigen Projekte, dass seit Beginn meiner Strickkarriere auf meiner Liste steht und auch die drei Jahre überstand. Ich hatte bereits einen Anlauf genommen, in einem anderen Garn, doch erschien mir die Farbigkeit ein wenig zu gedeckt (wie es ein Steinbock stricken würde, aber ich bin Waage ). Entrelac weist einige Parallelen zum modularen Stricken auf und ist vor allem ziemlich mindless, auch wenn es optisch viel hermacht.

This is the project I knit on the go, because I absolutely don’t feel like knitting socks at the moment. It’s the Lady Eleanor Entrelac stole from the book Scarf Style by Pam Allen. It’s one of the very few projects that survived on my to-do-list since I started my knitting career. I once made the attempt to knit it with a different yarn, but the shades were too muted for me (it was just like a capricorn would knit it, but I’m a libra ). Entrelac shows more than one analogy to modular knitting, and it’s rather mindless, although it looks quite complicated.
