Ich bräuchte mal wieder ein paar Damen (oder auch Herren) von Welt, die freudig ihre persönliche Meinung abgeben, da ich mir absolut uneins bin.

I’m desperately in need for some sophisticated ladies (or gentlemen) who are happy to tell me their opinion since I don’t know what to do.

Gestern habe ich ja meine Patchwork-Experimente nebst Material gezeigt. Das Ganze soll mal eine ärmellose Weste werden, wenn es groß ist. Die Patches sind, da mit NS 2,5 gestrickt, recht klein, und das gefällt mir auch. Die Weste will ich zu einfachen T-Shirts vorzugsweise dunkler Farbe (schwarz, anthrazit …) tragen, ich wünsche mir also ein buntes Teil.

Yesterday I displayed my modular knitting experiments here, together with the yarn I want to use. This is going to be a vest once (sleeveless). The patches are knitted with 2,5 mm needles, and so they are pretty small (what I like). I’m planning to wear the vest with plain t-shirts, preferably dark ones (black, graphite etc.). Therefore the vest is supposed to be very colourful.

Als ich mir mein gestriges Gestrick heute ansah, war ich mir nicht sicher, ob mir das ganz Bunte (Nr. 1) so wirklich gefällt, und ich habe eine Alternativlösung erarbeitet, bei der der mittlere Streifen durchgänging in einer Farbe gestrickt wird , während der untere Streifen und das obere Quadrat jeweils unterschiedliche Farben aufweisen (Nr. 2). Nachdem ich jedoch den vierten Patch bei Nr. 1 drangesetzt habe, nur mal so probeweise, gefällt mir das auch wieder sehr gut.

Taking a closer look at the three patches I knitted yesterday, I was not sure any more whether I still like the very colourful version (No. 1). So I worked on an alternative, as seen below. There the middle stripe would be worked in the same teal colour for all patches (No. 2). But after adding a fourth patch to No. 1, just for being sure, I started to like it again.

Kurz gesagt: Ich bin entscheidungsunfähig und bitte um Eure Meinungen, welches Euch besser gefällt. Immerhin bin ich eine Waage, und da ich nun mal blogge, sehe nicht ein, warum ich allein darunter leiden sollte. :D

To cut a long story short; I’m absolutely unable to decide which one I like better, and therefore I kindly ask for your opinions which one you like better. Don’t forget, I’m a libra, and since I’m a blogger as well I can’t see any reason why I should suffer from this dilemma on my own. ;)
