Der Adler Elch ist gelandet! Heute morgen kam meine Bosworth-Spindel aus Elchgeweih an, und ich bin einfach überwältigt, wie schön sie ist. Die Wartezeit betrug fast ein Jahr, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Der Service war übrigens hervorragend; man erhielt Fotografien der Wirtel und durfte vier davon auswählen, sodass jeder eine bekommt, die auch gefällt. Dazu wählt man dann das Holz für den Schaft. Die Maserung ist einfach wunderschön, ich kann mich noch gar nicht beruhigen. Beruhigend hingegen finde ich, dass kein Elch für diese Leidenschaft sterben musste, denn die Geweihe wurden abgeworfen und gesammelt.

The eagle moose just landed today. This morning my Bosworth spindle turned from moose antler arrived, and I’m overwhelmed by it’s stunning beauty. I had to wait almost a year for it, but it was definately worth the time. The service provided was excellent; I received photos of the whorls and had to choose four of them, so each customer gets a spindle he likes. Then I chose the wood for the shaft. The texture of the whorl is unbelievably vivid, I just can’t calm down at the moment. But what really calms me is the fact no moose died for this, because the antlers were shed and collected.
