Strickblogs haben ja irgendwie schon so etwas wie Bekenntnischarakter, und dieser ist keine Ausnahme. Ich beichte also einige Neuzugänge. Zunächst hätten wir ein paar Stränge Duo in den obigen Farben; sie sind für das Isager-Projekt Arrow gedacht.

To blog about knitting has something of shriving sometimes, and thisone is no exception. Therefore I have to confess that there is some new yarn in stash. First of all, there are some skeins of Duo in the colours seen above. They are meant for the arrow sweater by Marianne Isager.

Gestern habe ich einen LYS durchstöbert, was relativ enttäuschend war. Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Sommergarn, aber was sie hatten, gefiel mir nicht so recht. Was mir aber sehr wohl gefiel, war Noro Silk Garden in wundervoll müden, dekadenten Farben. Die musste einfach mit. Es ging nicht anders. Ich werde eine Weste daraus stricken.

Yesterday I browsed a local yarn store, and it was rather disappointing (I was looking for some summer yarn, but didn’t like what they had in stock). But what I did like was this wonderful decadent shade of Noro Silk Garden. It had to come with me, resistance was futile. I’ll knit a vest from it.

Und da es dann schon egal war, nahm ich noch zweimal Noro Sockenwolle mit, die ich sehr mag – gerade für Socken.

Since it didn’t make any difference any more, I took these two balls of Noro sock yarn with me, which I really like, specially for socks.
