Ich gebe es zu, ich bin im Restedeckenfieber. Man wird die Sockenwolle los, von der man zu wenig für ein weiteres Projekt hat, und es ist etwas, an dem man immer mal wieder eine Einheit stricken kann.

I have to confess, I’m in leftover-blanket fever. So I get rid of the sock yarn rests which are not enough for another project, and it’s something one can work on every then and when.

Neben dem Log Cabin, in dem alle Reste verarbeitet werden und die eine Wald-und-Wiesen-Decke wird, habe ich die Decke Bobby’s Garden begonnen (Ravelry-Link). Hier verwende ich eher hochwertige, exklusive Sockenwolle. Sie stellt insofern eine Herausforderung dar, als man bereits beim Stricken eine ausgewogene Farbgebung berücksichtigen muss. Dies ist jedenfalls der erste Kreis der Sechsecke.

For thisone I rather use classy, exclusive sock yarns. This is rather challenging since you have to think about the harmonic distribution of different colours and shades while working on it. However, this is the first circle of hexagons.
