Dies ist der Steek für einen Ärmel der Inakjacke von Marianne Isager. Ich habe die Jacke um einen Mustersatz verlängert und bin nun am Armloch angekommen. Da der Ärmel recht weit wird, nimmt man einen Musterblock pro Seite ab, sodass das Stricken der Runden jetzt schneller geht. :D

A propos schneller: Die Technik des beidhändigen Strickens ist mir in Fleisch und Blut übergegangen; ich stricke sie völlig selbstverständlich (und auch entsprechend schnell), und es ist mir unbegreiflich, dass ich es am Anfang so unbequem fand.

This is the steek for one sleeve of my Inka cardi by Marianne Isager. I knitted the body slightly longer (one pattern repeat) and finally reached the point where the sleeves begin. Since the sleeves become rather wide, I had to decrease one pattern repetition, and now knitting of one round became even faster than before. :D

Talking about speed: It seems to me I learned the technique of the two-handed knitting by heart, it became really easy for me (and I’m really quick now with it). It’s so easy that it seems unbelievable to me that it was so uncomfortable at the beginning.
