Sonntag war wieder Sockentag, und ich bin mit Trystero etwas weiter gekommen. Die Ferse ist geschafft, und bald ist die Spitze dran. Ich bin immer noch begeistert; das Muster ist einfach der Knaller.

Sunday was sock day again, and I proceeded with Trystero. The heel is done, and soon I’ll come to the toe section. I’m still very enthusiastic about the pattern, it’s just great!

Dies ist die doppelt verstärkte Ferse. Sie wird mit Hebemaschen gestrickt; außerdem habe ich einen Beilauffaden mitgestrickt.

This is the double enforced heel. It’s knitted with slipped stitches, and I added a thin thread for further durabilty.
