Am Samstag lud die Wollwerkstatt Kiel zum Stricktreff, und ich musste natürlich hin. Es war ein wunderschöner Tag; wir strickten auf der Terrasse im Schatten, sodass die Temperaturen erträglich waren. Ich habe auch etwas Wolle gekauft, aber das ist marginal und eigentlich zu vernachlässigen. Ich hatte es sogar geplant, und zwar Alpaka für eine Weste. Das setzte ich in die Tat um.

Last Saturday Wollwerkstatt Kiel invited for a knitting day, and of course I had to go there. It was a wonderful day, we knitted outside in the garden and sat in the shadow (it’s really hot up here at the moment). I even bought some yarn, but that’s not so important an can be neglected here actually … I even planned to do so, and I got some alpaca yarn for a waistcoat I want to knit.

Dann entdeckte ich das Vorgarn von Evilla in Regenbogenfarben, wie ich es schon lange für eine Tasche suche. Das Garn ist wirklich sehr günstig, die Gelegenheit war es auch. Also musste ich das auch mitnehmen. Klar, oder?

Then I found the unspun yarn by Evilla in rainbow colours. I’m looking for thisone for quite a long time already, for a bag. The yarn is really inexpensive, a bargain. Therefore I had to take some home with me. You understand this, don’t you?

Außerdem gab es noch Zitron Trekking pro natura. Das ist ein tolles Garn, und die Farben waren einfach zu schön. Auf zwei Knäule mehr oder weniger kommt es nicht an, fand ich.

Besides this, there was some Zitron Trekking pro natura. This is a phantastic sock yarn, and the colours are really beautiful. Two balls more or less don’t matter, right?

Da hatte ich wirklich Glück gehabt, ein relativ kleiner Einkauf. Dann allerdings kam das Verhängnis in Gestalt eines Falkenberg-Modells, und zwar eines reizenden Shrugs mit Kapuze.

I was lucky, I thought. It was a nice shopping day with not too much yarn. But then I was doomed. I saw a Falkenberg Kit, a cute hooded shrug.

Und da ohnehin schon alles egal war, nahm ich noch ein Top mit, auch von Falkenberg, aus dem neuen Baumwollmischgarn. Es ist indigogefärbt, und ich finde Farbe wie Modell toll. Und nun dürft ihr lachen.

Since it didn’t make any difference any more, I also bought a top by Falkenberg, which uses her new cotton blend yarn. It’s indigo dyed, and I love the colour and the pattern. And now you may laugh at me.
