Whistleblower 6

Hier ist nun das erste fertige Objekt des Jahres 2008: der Wonderland Tea Cozy. Natürlich ist es Kitsch, aber ich bin der Meinung, dass Teewärmer nun mal kitschig sein müssen, sonst haben sie ihre Bestimmung verfehlt. Es ist ein schönes, kleines, schnelles Projekt, das viel Spaß macht, und es war meine erste (aber bestimmt nicht meine letzte) Arbeit mit Glasperlen.

This is my first finished object in 2008. It’s a teacozy, and of course it’s kitsch, but teacozies have to be somewhat kitschy, I think, otherwise there is something wrong. It’s a nice little project and quickly done. It was my very first experience with beaded knits, but it will definately not be the last.
