Trifold Knitters Bowl - felted1

Ich kam, sah und filzte. Und ich bin glücklich. Sie ist weich, wonnig und wollig. Wegen der Farbe und der Form nenne ich meine Trifold Knitter’s Bowl nun Strickkohl. Der Schrumpfungs- und Filzprozess in der Maschine hat gut geklappt, das Teil hat nun Form, Stand und eine vernünftige Größe. Das Weiße innen ist der Teller, der dem Teil während des Trocknens Form geben soll. Eigentlich wollte ich es ja erst fotografieren, wenn es trocken und gefüllt ist, aber eine einzelne Dame begann zu drängeln. :D

I came, I saw, and I felted. And I’m happy with it. It came out soft, wooly, and cute. Due to the form and colour I call the project “Knitter’s Cabbage now. The process of shinking and felting did become it, everything worked out well, and the bowl has now condition, a nice shape and a good size. The white section inside is a plate which will help to shape the bowl during the drying time. Actually I wanted to wait until it’s dry and take a pic with yarn and accessoires inside, but one lady started to push me a bit. :D

Trifold Knitters Bowl - felted2 Die kleinen Taschen sind für diverse Zubehörteile wie Stopfnadeln, Maßbänder, Maschenmarkierer etc. Das Garn wird in der Mitte untergebracht. Der Strickkohl ist groß genug, um einigen Knäulen Platz zu bieten. Ich bin begeistert!

The small pouches will once hold little things like tapestry needles, stitch markers and measure tapes. The yarn will be placed in the center section. The bowl is big enough for several balls. I’m just thrilled!

Obwohl der Strickkohl recht kompliziert aussieht, ist er einfach und schnell gestrickt. Er ist groß genug und sehr stabil.

Although this bowl looks rather complicated to knit, it’s easy and quickly done. It has plenty of space and it’s very robust.
