Da ich nun mal ein Kardiertier habe, wollte ich mal damit experimentieren. Ich habe blind drei Farben aus meinem Alpenwolle-Stash gegriffen und zusammen kardiert. Das Kardieren lief prima, aber das Ergebnis liegt irgendwo zwischen “äh, mal sehen” und “gruselig”. Versponnen habe ich die Hälfte auch gleich, schön dünn auf meinem Tom. Mal sehen, wie das nach dem Verzwirnen aussieht…

Since I have a drum carder, I just wanted to experiment a bit. I chose three colours from my Alpenwolle stash without looking and carded them together. Carding just went fine, but the result is … well. We’ll see. I spun half of the roving immediately, and this is what it looks like. I will see how it will come out after plying.
