Dies ist Seamus, das Blogmaskottchen. Das Spinnen war einfach, das Stricken auch. Aber das Nähen… und das Gesicht… Die Augen habe ich aus einem Spielzeugladen, aber das Sticken war eine echte Herausforderung. Ich habe gemerkt, dass die paar Stiche entscheiden, ob es Seamus, das freundliche Blogschaf wird, oder Seamus, der Killerbock oder gar Seamus, der perverse Widder aus dem Hochland (ich bin mir da persönlich noch nicht ganz sicher). Wie auch immer, dies ist das erste Projekt aus selbstgesponnener Wolle: Seamus, Blogschaf und Spinnradwächter.

This is Seamus, the blog mascote. Spinning was easy, knitting as well. But the sewing job… and the face design… I bought the eyes today in a toy store, but the embroidery was a real challenge for me. I found out that a few stitches make the difference between Seamus, the friendly blog sheep, or Seamus, the killer ram, or even Seamus, the pervert ram from he Highlands (I am not sure whichone this is, actually). However, this is the very first project I knitted from my own handspun yarn: Seamus: blog sheep and guardian of my spinning wheel.
