Hier bin ich wieder. Das Garn ist jetzt gezwirnt. Wie ich mir gedacht habe, ist das nicht ganz so einfach, wenn man ungeübt ist (ich habe ja auch niemanden, der es mir zeigt, sondern nur Bücher). Links sieht man den ersten Versuch. Es handelt sich um einige Zentimeter eines verwurstelten Chaos, das einmal Garn werden wollte. Aber so leicht lasse ich mich nicht entmutigen, und letztendlich triumphierte der Geist über die Materie. Im Bild unten sieht man das fertig gezwirnte Garn auf einer eigentlich zu kleinen Spindel (die große ist blöderweise schon wieder belegt mit dem zweiten Schwung Garn). Ich bin also vom Stadium der schwangeren Regenwürmer zu dem der schwangeren Spindeln übergegangen. Der nächste Teil der Weiterverarbeitung erfolgt bei Tageslicht und somit nicht jetzt. Also heißt es wieder…

Hi, I’m back again. The yarn is freshly plyed. As I assumed before, it’s not that easy if you do it for the first time (and I have no teacher, just books).  The pic on the left shows my very first attempt which ended in a few centimeters of intricated havoc. But it’s not that easy to discourage me – I just gave it another try. On the pic below you can see the final result: the plyed yarn on a spindle which is too small (unfortunately the large spindle is loaded with newly spun yarn, the second lot). You can see that I proceeded from the phase of pregnant-earthworm yarn  to the phase of pregnant spindle. The next part of processing will happen during daytime, and this is not now.
