Na also, geht doch. Heute ist meine Handspindel nebst Übungsmaterial angekommen. Das ist auf jeden Fall besser als nichts. Es ist ein großes, recht schweres Teil, ca. 30 cm lang. Das Zeug, das aussieht wie ein gigantischer Tampon ist kardiertes naturfarbenes Wollflies zum Üben, da ich mir über die Anfangsresultate wenig Illusionen mache. Jetzt werde ich mich in das beiliegende Faltblatt vertiefen und hoffentlich die ersten schwangeren Regenwürmer produzieren.

Today my hand spindle arrived, together with some material for practicing. It’n not the spinning wheel, but it’s better than nothing. The spindle is quite big and heavy, appr. 30 cm long. The stuff that looks like a gigantic tampon is some carded wool fleece for getting started (I don’t cherish any illusions regarding the very first results…). Now I will delve into the instructions and hopefully produce the first pregnant earthworms soon.
