Meine Maschenmarkierer nervten mich schon lange: kleine, offene Plastikringe, die sich im Gestrick verhedderten und die Tendenz hatten, auf den Boden zu fallen und dort zu wandern. Daher habe ich mir einfach ein paar Glasperlen, Draht und Metallringe gekauft und losgelegt. Dies ist die erste Produktion von sechs Maschenmarkierern. Ich werde noch weitere machen, denn ich finde die viel besser und praktischer als die Gekauften. Beim nächsten Mal werden auch welche für Nadeln, die dicker sind als 9 mm, dabei sein.

I started to hate the little stitch markers I bought: small rings, made of plastic, and with a gap at one side. They always get entangled with the fibres, besides this the tend to get lost somewhere and start wandering around in the flat. Therefore I purchased some glass beads, wire and metal rings and started my very own production. These are the first stitch markers I ever made. Of course I will make some more. I like them much better than the small plastic ones, they are much more convenient. The next ones will have larger rings for needles thicker than 9 mm.
