So langsam geht es mir wie Mascha. Meine Wollberge zu Hause werden mir peinlich, weswegen ich keine Fotos mache. Es steht ja auch noch meine Bestellung für den “Felted Tweed” von Rowan aus, außerdem die mit der zum Stricken geeigneten Filzwolle… Angekommen ist hingegen die Drops Eskimo in (viel) Schwarz und (wenig) weiß, die ich für den Pullover “Skully” aus dem Buch “Stitch n’ Bitch” von Debbie Stoller verarbeiten werde. Genauer gesagt: verarbeite. Ich habe nämlich damit angefangen, da ich mich als Ausgleich zum Guernsey nach dicken Nadeln und schnellen Fortschritten sehne. Allerdings werde ich das Ärmelmotiv abändern, da es mir im Original nicht gefällt.
Der Guernsey liegt aber nicht brach: ich werde das Rückenteil heute beenden.

I feel very much like my knitting pal Mascha at the moment: I am embarrassed when I think about the yarn I store in my flat which ist waiting to be knitted. Therefore I refuse to take pictures of this. And this is not all: I am still waiting for my order of “Felted Tweed” by Rowan (mid-October), and for the order of yarn which is designed for felting…. The Drops Eskimo yarn which I want to use for the “Skully” sweater from the book “Stitch n’ Bitch” arrived: and I started right away. While doing the Cornish guernsey all the time, I started to long desperately for thick yarn, thick needles and a quick success. I just decided to change the motif shown on the arms for I don’t like the pattern and will chose anotherone.
But don’t worry, I will proceed with the guernsey (which I really love): I think I will finish the back today.
