Ich war Samstag in meinem Lieblingswollladen in Hamburg und habe mir je zwei Knäuel Noro Kureyon für Stulpen aus dem Buch Stitch n’ Bitch Nation gekauft.
Außerdem hatten die den Felted Tweed von Rowan in Dunkelviolett da, und da konnte ich nicht widerstehen. Ich möchte noch einen Fischerpullover. Leider hatten sie nicht die erforderliche Menge da, aber sie bestellen es nach.
Die Wolle für den Skully aus Stitch n’ Bitch habe ich auch bestellt. Ich beruhige mein Gewissen damit, dass andere über 40 Kilo Wolle gebunkert haben und dass es bei mir noch keine 10 sind (glaube ich).

Der cornische Fischerpullover hat dramatische Fortschritte gemacht, mein Klagelied auf der Mailingliste hat geholfen. Ich bin jetzt beim Mustersatz; der Rücken ist fast fertig. Es ist ein sehr ungewöhnliches Muster, anders als die Fischerpullover, die ich sonst so im Netz gefunden habe, aber mir gefällt er!
Saturday I visited my favourite LYS again and purchased Noro Kureyon for gauntlets I want to make from the Stitch n’ Bitch Nation book. I love Noro Kureyon and autumn is coming! When I looked around in the shop I discovered this wonderful Rowan Felted Tweed in a rich dark violet colour. They did not have the amount of yarn I need for a second guernsey, but they will order it for me. I decided to do a second guernsey.
Besides that, I ordered the yarn for the skully sweater in the Stitch n’ Bitch book.
I salve consciences with thinking of the knitters I read of in the WWW who stash away 40 kilos of yarn or even more… and I think I have not even 10 kg…

The progress my cornish guernsey made are dramatic, I think the lamentations I made about the thin yarn helped. I started with the pattern and the back will be finished soon! The pattern I use is quite dissimilar to the ones I found in books or at the web, but it is genuine cornish and I like it very much .
